EMBASSY AT A GLANCE The Embassy Youth Centre is a Bournemouth Borough Council run youth club offering a range of both formal and informal education opportunities for young people aged between 11-25. Moira Clark manages Embassy alongside a team of dedicated part time youth workers and volunteers all of which are passionate about working with young people and guiding them through their transition from child to adulthood. Embassy and its staff are committed fully to equal opportunity, empowerment and participation, and actively promote activities which engage members fully in society. We work closely with the youth service curriculum to create informal and formal opportunities which, are freely chosen, fun, challenging and encourage self development. We aim to develop relationships with young people which are essentially participative, based on trust, honesty and equality. The Embassy Youth Centre takes pride in its programme which offers a diverse selection of activities open to all our members. We continually seek new and innovative ways to engage members ensuring both new and existing young people continually enjoy and achieve. Staff endeavor to make Embassy Youth Centre a safe haven for all young people without prejudice. We have clear boundaries regarding bullying, homophobia, racism and aggressive behavior, none of the listed are tolerated. The Embassy Youth Centre is here for everyone. |
