Ten young people from the Embassy Youth Centre took part in a two day mask making workshop where they used lots of different materials to create masks for the Arts Festivals “Grand Grotesque Parade,” held at the end of September in the Town Centre. The parade gave the young people a chance to show off their hard work and for the community to appreciate their commitment to the activity

Katy, one of the girls taking part said “It was great fun making my mask and I liked that we got to use old boxes and bits of materials which put them to good use. I was nervous about taking part in the parade in fornt of lots of people but once I had my mask on no-one could see me.
